Meet Your Instructor

A Classicist and ancient language specialist, I have over a decade of experience teaching and advising students, from middle schoolers to doctoral students at leading institutions across the United States. I bring together a deep understanding of how students learn best with clear, structured instruction in the classical languages that encourage students to develop lasting foundations in grammar, vocabulary, and translation. My teaching style is supportive yet challenging so that students build confidence in their own abilities and take ownership over their learning.

Whether you are struggling to learn an ancient language for the first time and need strategies that work for you or a high-achieving college student seeking enrichment and academic mentorship, my goal is the same: make difficult material understandable, engaging, and manageable to propel your growth as a learner. I believe that individualized instruction can transform how students experience the classical languages and how they engage with the world of classical antiquity.
